The intent of this scholarship is first to provide for applicants who desire to attend a trade or vocational school or seeking an associates degree in vocational trades. The second is to provide for applicants who desire to attend a college or university who seek to major in math.
Criteria for Selection:
1. Applicant must be a member of the current graduating class of Frankenmuth High School.
2. The applicant must be planning to attend a trade or vocational school, community college, college or university full time and prior to distribution of the scholarship funds must be accepted and enrolled.
3. The applicant must demonstrate academic skills for the trade, vocational or math scholarship areas by having a grade point higher than 2.0 for their high school tenure. For those students who may be considered for the financial need area if criteria are met, the applicant must have a grade point higher than 3.0 for their high school tenure.
4. Selection criteria may also be based on financial need of the student for assistance with educational costs after high school if the primary purposes from this agreement are not able to be satisfied.
5. The applicant must demonstrate service to his school, church or community through active participation.
6. The scholarship will be awarded without regarding to sex, race, religion, place of birth, or personal handicap.
7. Other criteria as recommended by the Donor.
